Giving Tuesday
Giving Tuesday, held each year on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, is a 24-hour international online giving event. This year Giving Tuesday falls on December 3, 2024 and on this day charities, families, businesses, community centers, and students around the world will come together for a common purpose: to celebrate generosity through giving.
The local campaign, known as The Shore Gives More, is hosted by the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore (CFES). CFES has provided online donation portal, marketing campaigns, and nonprofit support. Join us on December 3rd as we support and celebrate nonprofits in Wicomico, Worcester, and Somerset Counties on Maryland’s Lower Shore.
In 2023, HDCD participated in Giving Tuesday with Shore Gives More and raised $350. This year we have a goal of raising $20,000. Please check our fundraising page through the Shore Gives More 2024 Platform to give. Early giving starts on November 25th-December 2nd.
